CSHL Night With The Hurricanes! Tuesday, April 18th @7pm

Carolina HurricanesI hope you are enjoying the start of our inaugural season! As you know, our league is strongly subsidized and supported by the Central Carolina Hockey organization, as well as the Carolina Hurricanes.

I am very excited to be able to announce to you a very special event which is intended to thank you for your participation in our pilot league season!

Please be the guests of Central Carolina Hockey and the Carolina Hurricanes on the evening of Tuesday, April 18th, 2006 as the Hurricanes battle the Buffalo Sabres at 7pm at the RBC in what is the Hurricane's final home game of the 2005-2006 regular season!

Central Carolina Hockey and the Carolina Hurricanes want you to know they support the Carolina Scholastic Hockey League!

Thanks to their support, each and every CSHL Wake Middle School student is entitled to receive one complimentary lower-level ticket (Sec's 107 & 116) to see the 2005-2006 Southeast Division Champion Carolina Hurricanes play their last regular season home game against the Buffalo Sabres! That's an $85 gate-value ticket, folks!

Click read more below to find out more details, and how to claim your ticket!

CSHL Night is not CCH Night!

As you are aware - CCH is celebrating their first year as an organization by inviting over 700 of their closest friends to their own night with the Hurricanes on Tuesday, April 11th, to watch them play the New Jersey Devils.

We wanted to make sure you were aware that Tuesday, April 18th is a special night that has specifically been set aside for CSHL Wake Middle School league players, parents, coaches, and their families only!

You are of course welcome to attend both events, we hope you've been lucky enough to snag one of the over 700 tickets sold to the CCH Night Event!

You Must Opt-In To Attend!!

>Please read the following instructions carefully.

Ticket quantities for this event are limited. We have enough tickets for every player, as well as a limited number of tickets for adults to accompany the group.

We already know that we do not have sufficient quantities of tickets for every parent in our program, please allow us to apologize in advance for this inconvenience.

We have set aside two complimentary adult tickets for each team for the team coaches and/or managers, and also have a limited number of additional parent tickets available for a $14 donation.

FYI - we think that we have approximately 1 adult ticket available for every 2 player tickets based upon participation estimates.

Participation in this event requires that you 'opt-in' by contacting us BY THE DEADLINE to reserve a ticket by using one of the two methods (only):
  1. Send e-mail to: tickets@cshl.us
  2. Call our office at 342-7153
NOTE: If you send us e-mail, or leave us voicemail at the office number, please include your player's name.

The deadline for confirmation is the same as your tax return:

Saturday, April 15th at 9pm (NO EXCEPTIONS)

A 'no-response' by this date and time will be considered to be a 'No' response.

Because quantities are limited, please do not reserve a ticket unless you are sure that your player can go! You may also place an order for an adult ticket at the time you reserve your player's ticket, and we will satisfy as many as these orders as we can.

Player and Adult tickets will be distributed at the RBC near the VIP entrance on the evening of the game beginning at 6pm, and ending at 7:15pm. Look for the CSHL representative.

All adult tickets must be prepaid - you can pay us online, or bring us a check at the game. We cannot accept cash at the game.

Participation Guidelines

As mentioned above, all complimentary tickets must be claimed or ordered by 9pm Saturday, April 15th, 2006. Once we have a final count on the number of player, coach and manager tickets that have been claimed, we will be able to determine how many of the adult tickets we will be able to provide.

It is likely that we will have enough tickets to allow a total of 4-5 adults to accompany each team to the event, and therefore your confirmation of your player's attendance should take into account that he or she may be under the supervision of another adult parent on the team. The tickets are grouped together in mostly continuous blocks in Sections 107 and 116, sufficient to ensure that team players and supervising parents can be seated together in close proximity to each other.

NOTE: Parents are responsible for ensuring that their players are adequately supervised, and for their safe transportation to and from the game. CSHL will be providing only representative staffing for this event in order to maximize player and parent participation.

Please Wear Your Jerseys!

There will be an occasional focus on the group during the game. Please have your players wear their CCH or school team jerseys to the game! (Washed and clean, please!) We will be seating the teams together in 'blocks', so this should provide an impressive show of numbers for our organization (we're over a 100 players strong!!).

If there are any questions about this event, please do not hesitate to e-mail us, or call our office.

Thanks for supporting CSHL!
