Congratulations to our 2010 CSHL High School Champions:
Division 1: Green Hope HS - Maroon Team
Division 2A: Athens Drive HS
Division 2B: Wakefield HS - Maroon Team
Silver and Bronze Medalists are as follows:
Division 1: Leesville Road HS (Silver), Cardinal Gibbons HS - Green Team (Bronze)
Division 2A: Fuquay-Varina HS (Silver), Millbrook HS - Blue Team (Bronze)
Division 2B: Raleigh Charter HS (Silver), Enloe HS - Gold Team (Bronze)
The CSHL 2010 HS Championships were held at DreamSports Center on Saturday and Sunday, February 6th-7th, 2010.
Individual Awards
- Division 1: MVP: Andrew McCauley (Middle Creek HS), MVG: Stephen Crudele (Green Hope HS)
- Division 2A: MVP: Matt Carter (Athens Drive HS), MVG: Daniel Tavalin (Athens Drive HS)
- Division 2B: MVP: Sam Reinhard (Raleigh Charter HS), MVG: Zach Gusse (Raleigh Charter HS)
Tournament Format
- Division 1 (7 teams): Double Elimination
- Division 2A (6 teams): Single Elimination
- Division 2B (9 teams, 1 play-in): Double Elimination
- 3 x 15 minute periods
- 1 Timeout
- If tied, successive 15 min sudden-victory 3-on-3 OT periods (no shootouts)
- The D2A 7th seed (Wakefield Maroon) and 8th seed (Apex White) teams played-in to the 3rd seed in the D2B double-elimination bracket.
- Seeding positions for Sanderson HS and Fuquay-Varina were determined by a head-to-head tiebreaker.
